car windshield repair
http://tiny.cc/dki-windshield-repair► We created this step-by-step tutorial to demonstrate how to repair a long crack in a windshield. Delta Kits does not typically recommend fixing long cracks for a few reasons:
1. Time: We all know time is money. Long cracks take significantly
more time to repair than chips and short cracks.
2. Supplies: Long cracks require a significant amount of resin,
costing you more in supplies per repair, which means you have
charge more for long crack repair.
3. Outcome: The success rate of long cracks is about 25% lower
than regular chip repairs. It is important to set clear
expectations with the customer before you attempt to repair a
long crack. Many people expect repair results to be "invisible"
once completed. This is not true with a chip and is certainly not
true with a long crack. Think of it like a cut on the skin. You get
cut and your skin heals, but often there is a scare remaining. It is
the same for windshield repair. Windshield repair resin is
designed for optical clarity, however, a scare will always remain.
4. Insurance: does not cover long cracks. Customers may be less
inclined to pay cash for a repair. They may also be less inclined
to pay more for a long crack repair when insurance may cover
All that said, if you have mad skills at repairing long cracks, GO FOR IT!
